On September 27, the General Administration of Customs and National Health Committee issued an announcement. From the date of promulgation of this announcement, two kinds of regulatory certificates, namely, the “Novel Food Raw Material License Certificate” and the “Temporary Application Standard for Importing Food Without National Food Safety Standards”, withdrew from the port for verification.

On September 2, the National Health Commission issued the "National Food Safety Standards Project Establishment Plan for 2019 (Second Batch)", including 8 nutrition and special dietary food standards such as “National Food Safety Standard Labeling of Pre-Packaged Food for Special Dietary Use” (GB 13432-2013) and 15 food nutrition enhancer quality specifications such as “Food nutrition enhancer Galacto-oligosaccharide”.

One batch of infant food supplements failed to pass the sampling test, and the others were all qualified.
